Account of ye Parliament rolls abstracted by me out of Mr Anstis's copy, 1708.

Manuscript in three volumes, on paper, in a single hand, of comparisons of Parliament rolls "out of Mr. Anstis's Copy" "with the originals or a good Copy of them." The first volume spans Parliamentary rolls from the reigns of Edward II to Richard II, noting discrepancies between Anstis' version and Sir Robert Cotton's "Abridgment" of the records in the Tower of London. The second volume begins with Henry IV and ends with Edward IV. The third volume is an "Account of the Parliament Rolls of such as are Printed & Where;" a list in this volume titled "Books look't over out of which the following abstracts are made" includes Robert Brady's "History of England" and William Ryley's "Placita Parliamentaria."

3 vols. ; 12 x 9 cm.
